Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred well south of the Bight will move very slowly eastwards over the next few days. A trough of low pressure will move across the State next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers about coastal parts of the southern agricultural area. Cool to mild in the south, warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh southeast to southwesterly winds.Sunday 12 FebruaryIsolated showers about southern coasts and ranges. Cool to mild in the south, warm to hot in the north. Mainly moderate to fresh south to southeast winds and afternoon sea breezes.Monday 13 FebruaryIsolated morning showers or drizzle about southern coasts and ranges. Possible early morning patchy fog in the southeast. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times in the far west ahead of a moderate to fresh southwesterly change. Fresh afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 14 FebruaryCloud increasing over the west with possible isolated light showers developing during the afternoon and evening. Fine in the north and east. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times in the west ahead of the southwesterly change, reaching Kingscote to Whyalla late evening.Wednesday 15 February
Cloudy with possible isolated showers over agricultural areas. Warm to hot in the northeast with light to moderate northeasterly winds. Mild and moderate to fresh southwesterly winds elsewhere.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday afternoon until midnight Wednesday are expected to be up to 2 mm, possibly 2-5 mm about southern coast and ranges.
Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers gradually clearing from the agricultural areas. Milder temperatures through the period due to southwest to southeast winds persisting into the weekend.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
