Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high southwest of Western Australia is directing a cool southwest to southeast airstream over the State. The high will move slowly eastwards to be centred well south of the Bight on Friday. A middle level disturbance will move across the State during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine over the Pastoral districts and the northeast of the agricultural area. Isolated showers elsewhere. Cool over the agricultural area grading to mild in the far north. Moderate southwest to southerly winds., fresh at times near the coast until evening.Tuesday 7 FebruaryFine over the Pastoral districts and the northeast of the agricultural area. Isolated showers elsewhere, contracting to the coasts in the evening. Cool in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh at times in the afternoon and evening.Wednesday 8 FebruaryIsolated light showers about the coasts. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 9 February
Isolated showers extending across the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts, except for near the eastern border. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, freshening in the afternoon.
Friday 10 February
Isolated showers chiefly over the eastern parts of the agricultural area, but also developing over western parts Isolated showers south of about Woomera. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm in the north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon until midnight Friday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm south of Woomera, reaching 2- 5 mm near the coasts.
Saturday until MondayIsolated showers over the agricultural area on Saturday. Fine on Sunday and Monday. Becoming warmer.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Tuesday.Product IDS10033
