Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 5/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system southwest of Western Australia is directing a southwest to southeast airstream over the State. The high will move slowly eastwards to be centred south of the Bight late on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and West coast, contracting to coastal areas by evening. Fine over the remainder. Cool over the agricultural area grading to mild in the far north. Mainly moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 7 FebruaryIsolated showers about the West coast and agricultural area contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Fine over the remainder. Cool in the south grading to warm in the far north. Mainly moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 8 FebruaryIsolated showers about coastal areas. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 9 February
Isolated showers about the west coast and agricultural area, except for over eastern parts. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday morning until midnight Thursday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm over the agricultural area, with possible falls up to 5 mm near the coast.
Friday until SundayIsolated showers chiefly over the eastern parts of the agricultural area, but also developing over western parts on Sunday. Temperatures slowly rising to become mild near southern coasts on Sunday, grading to hot in the far north and west. Mainly moderate south to southeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
