MELBOURNE - Feb 2/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for the Central West and Lower West and adjacent parts of
the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern for heavy rainfall and damaging winds.
Warning for Sheep Farmers over central and southern parts of the SW Land
Division.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Carnarvon to Walpole.
Fire Weather Warning for the northern parts of the SW Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday
Southwest of a line from Perth to Hopetoun, extending to southwest of a line
Jurien Bay to Merredin to Hopetoun by the evening: Areas of rain and isolated
squally thunderstorms. Heavy falls possible over the Lower West and adjacent
parts from late afternoon onwards. Damaging wind gusts possible north of Perth.
Remaining SW Land Division and adjacent Gascoyne: Isolated squally thunderstorms
and showers. Rain areas in the southeast. Damaging wind gusts possible over the
Central West and adjacent parts of the Lower West and Central Wheat Belt.
Southern and western Gascoyne, northern Kimberley, western and central
Goldfields and the far western Eucla: Isolated afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Forecast for Friday
Central and southern parts of the SW Land Division and the far southwest
Goldfields: Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers from the west during the
day.
Remaining parts of the SW Land Division and the western Gascoyne: Isolated
showers.
Remaining parts of the Goldfields, the southern and far northeastern Gascoyne,
Eucla, southwest Interior and the northwest Kimberley: Isolated thunderstorms
and showers.
