Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 21/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough lies over inland parts of New South Wales. During Sunday and Monday the trough will move west and weaken as a high pressure system moves over the southwestern Tasman Sea extending a ridge to the north coast. Another trough is expected to develop over the west of the state on Tuesday and and then to move to the northeast during Thursday as a cold front moves across the southern Tasman Sea.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers on the coast and on adjacent ranges tending scattered in the north with the chance of thunderstorms. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the west. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to southeast winds freshening along the north and central coasts.Monday 23 JanuaryIsolated showers on the coast and on adjacent ranges tending scattered in the north. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the west. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Tuesday 24 JanuaryPartly cloudy in the southwest.
