MELBOURNE - Jan 14/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for eastern Gascoyne, western Interior, and northern
Goldfields, including Meekatharra.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Bremer Bay to Israelite Bay.
Flood Warning current for the Pilbara coastal streams between Port Hedland and
Karratha.
Flood Warning current for the De Grey, Fortescue River, and Ashburton River
catchments.
Forecast for Saturday
Southeastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and far western Interior: Heavy rain
and thunderstorms, with strong gusts possible.
Pilbara, remainder of the inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and northeast Central
Wheatbelt: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Heavy falls possible.
Western and northern Kimberley and northern Interior: Isolated thunderstorms and
showers, mainly afternoon.
Remainder of the eastern and northern Gascoyne and Southwest Land Division:
Isolated thunderstorms and showers, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Sunday
Eastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and the central and southern Interior:
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms extending to the northern Gascoyne
during the afternoon.
Central Pilbara: Isolated showers and thunderstorms extending to western parts
in the afternoon with showers becoming scattered.
Northwest Kimberley: Isolated thunderstorms and showers, mainly afternoon.
Southern and eastern SW Land Division and the southwest Goldfields: Isolated
showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon and evening.
