MELBOURNE - Jan 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Coral Bay to Cape Leeuwin.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West coastal district for Monday.
Flood Watch issued for the Pilbara.
Forecast for Monday
Far western Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne and
central Interior: Scattered thunderstorms and showers with moderate to heavy
falls and localised flooding possible.
Northern half of the Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields, remainder of the
Kimberley, Pilbara and Interior: Isolated thunderstorms and showers. Showers
tending scattered away from the Kimberley. Conditions contracting into the far
north and northeast Gascoyne and extending into the southern Interior during the
day.
About the south coast near and west of Israelite Bay: Isolated showers.
Forecast for Tuesday
Northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields and the
Interior: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy falls
and areas of flooding possible over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and the
central Interior.
Remainder of the Kimberley: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the
afternoon and evening.
About the south coast east of Albany: Isolated morning showers.
