MELBOURNE - Jan 4/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Fire Weather Warning for Ninghan subdistrict of the Central Wheatbelt for
Thursday.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Leeuwin to Caiguna.
Forecast for Wednesday evening
Southeast Gascoyne, eastern Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields: Scattered
thunderstorms and showers.
Remainder of the Southwest Land Division apart from the Central West and Lower
West: Isolated thunderstorms and showers.
Eastern Pilbara, Kimberley, remainder of the eastern Gascoyne, all but the
eastern Interior and western Eucla: Isolated thunderstorms and showers.
Forecast for Thursday
Southern Southwest, southern Great Southern, South Coastal: Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms clearing from the north during the morning, moderate
to heavy falls.
Southeast Coastal: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, easing for a period late
morning. Moderate to heavy falls possible, along with strong squalls in the
afternoon.
Eastern Central Wheatbelt, eastern Great Southern, southwest Goldfields:
Isolated thunderstorms and showers, becoming scattered in the afternoon with
moderate to heavy falls and strong squalls possible.
Remainder of the Great Southern and Southwest: Isolated early thunderstorms and
showers.
Kimberley, inland central and eastern Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, remaining
Goldfields, western Eucla and Interior: Isolated thunderstorms and showers,
mainly afternoon and evening, scattered in the Kimberley in the afternoon.
