MELBOURNE - Jan 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for the southern Central West and adjacent
parts.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West and Lower West districts, including
the Metropolitan Coastal Plains and the Metropolitan Hills.
Forecast for Wednesday
Southern Central West, far southern Gascoyne, Central Wheatbelt and northern
Lower West: Isolated thunderstorms and showers, increasing early afternoon with
damaging gusts, large hail and heavy rainfall possible.
Kimberley: Scattered thunderstorms and showers, more isolated in the far south.
Remainder of the Southwest Land Division apart from the northern Central West:
Scattered thunderstorms and showers in the west, extending throughout in the
afternoon and evening.
Inland central and eastern Pilbara, remainder of the eastern Gascoyne, all but
the southern Interior: Isolated thunderstorms and showers.
Goldfields: Isolated thunderstorms and showers in the west, extending throughout
in the afternoon and evening. Becoming scattered with strong gusts and heavy
falls possible in the northwest in the afternoon.
A windy morning also expected through central and southern parts of the state.
West Eucla: Isolated evening showers and thunderstorms.
