MELBOURNE - Jan 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West district for the remainder of Tuesday.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West and Lower West districts, including
the Metropolitan Coastal Plains and the Metropolitan Hills for Wednesday.
Forecast for Tuesday   evening
Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, Interior, southern goldfields and Eucla:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, slowly contracting southeast from the
southern Goldfields and southern Eucla during the late afternoon and evening.
Eastern Gascoyne, inland Central West, northern Central Wheat Belt and northern
Goldfields: Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Forecast for Wednesday
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, southeast Gascoyne, central and
northeastern parts of the SW Land Division away from the south coast: Isolated
showers and thunderstorms tending more scattered in the afternoon. Moderate to
heavy falls possible in the Great Southern and adjacent parts of the Southeast
Coastal and Goldfields districts. Squally thunderstorms and small hail possible
through northern parts of the Central Wheat Belt and adjacent parts of the
Central West and Lower West. A windy morning also expected through central and
southern parts of the state.
