MELBOURNE - Dec 30/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Cape Leeuwin.
Forecast for Friday    evening
Southeast Lower West, northwest Great Southern and adjacent Southwest: Isolated
thunderstorms and showers, with small hail, strong squalls and moderate to heavy
falls possible.
Kimberley, far eastern inland Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne, Interior, eastern
and Southern Goldfields, Eucla, remainder of the Southwest Land Division apart
from the Lower West and Central West: Isolated thunderstorms and showers,
scattered through central parts. Strong squalls with thunderstorms in the
Goldfields, adjacent Interior, Central Wheatbelt and northern Great Southern.
Showers tending scattered in the Southwest.
Central West: Isolated coastal showers.
Forecast for Saturday
Southwest of a line Mandurah to Hopetoun: Isolated thunderstorms and scattered
showers clearing during the morning.
Along the west coast between Kalbarri and Lancelin: Isolated showers, mainly
morning.
Near the south coast west of Bremer Bay: Areas of drizzle.
Kimberley, inland and western Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, far northern
Goldfields and northwest Interior, extending into the eastern Gascoyne, Central
Wheatbelt, Great Southern, Southeast Coastal, far eastern South Coastal,
remainder of the Goldfields and Eucla in the afternoon: Isolated thunderstorms
and showers.
