Forecast for Tuesday The upper level trough should produce some patchy thundery rain during the morning about the southern interior, which will contract into the southeast interior and break up to isolated showers and storms during the day. Generally dry air will keep the central west mainly fine, though there is just the chance of some isolated showers and storms over the region during the afternoon and evening. The surface trough should move over the eastern and northwestern districts during the afternoon, producing scattered showers and storms. Scattered showers and storms also over Cape York Peninsula. However the monsoon trough is likely to be active over the state's far north, and there is the possibility that a tropical cyclone will move across the Gulf of Carpentaria towards Cape York Peninsula during the outlook period. The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:10 pm EST Sunday. Weather & WarningsAustraliaNew South WalesVictoriaQueenslandWarnings SummaryForecastsBrisbane ForecastQld.
