Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 12/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Albany.
Severe Thunderstorm warning issued for area bounded by Lancelin, Northam, Collie
and Harvey. This includes people in, near or between Perth and Mandurah.
Forecast for Monday    evening
Southern parts of the SW Land Division, southwest Gascoyne and northern
Goldfields: Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy falls
with local flooding possible.
Remainder of the SW Land Division, Kimberley, northern and western Interior and
far east Pilbara: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Strong gusts, hail and
heavy falls possible with thunderstorms for the Lower West district.
Forecast for Tuesday
Central and eastern SW Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern
Interior and Eucla: Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy
falls possible through eastern parts of the Central Wheatbelt, Great Southern,
Southeast coastal district, adjacent South coastal district and southern
Goldfields.
Lower West, Central West, remainder of the South Coastal district, Southwest
district: Isolated showers, clearing away from the south coast towards evening.
Southwest Gascoyne: Isolated early morning showers.
Kimberley and northern and central Interior: Isolated afternoon showers and
thunderstorms.
