Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 4/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of South Australia is moving slowly east and will be near the west coast of Tasmania by tonight. The high will weaken as it moves across Tasmania during Tuesday and will be located to the east of Tasmania on Wednesday. The high will move across the southern Tasman Sea on Thursday as a low pressure trough develops over South Australia.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers in East Gippsland, clearing later in the day. Dry and mostly sunny elsewhere. A generally mild day with moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds.Fire Danger -  High in the west, low to moderate in the remainder.Tuesday 6 DecemberFine. Mild to warm and mostly sunny. Light to moderate easterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 7 DecemberFine apart from the chance of an afternoon shower about the northeast ranges. A generally warm and mainly sunny day with light to moderate easterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Thursday 8 DecemberIsolated showers about the northeast ranges. Fine over the remainder. Warm day with cloud increasing in the west.
