Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 4/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system lies over the eastern Bight, while a Low is developing over the central Tasman Sea. The high will move very slowly eastwards and weaken, forming a centre east of Tasmania on Wednesday. A low pressure trough is expected to develop over the west of the state Thursday night and then to deepen and move slowly east during Friday and Saturday as the high moves towards New Zealand.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers near the coast. Showers and isolated thunderstorms developing over the northern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeast winds near the coast, tending easterly inland.Tuesday 6 DecemberShowers in the north and on the south and central coasts. Isolated thunderstorms developing in the northwest. Southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 7 DecemberPartly cloudy in the far northwest and in the southern and central inland. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered in the northeast. Southeast to northeast winds.Thursday 8 DecemberIsolated showers on the coast and ranges and in the far western inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
