Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 30/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system to the southwest of the Bight will remain stationary as a weak cold front moves past the southern coasts early on Thursday. The high will then move slowly east to be south of the Bight on Friday and Saturday then over Tasmania early next week.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated light showers south of about Port Lincoln to Keith, contracting to the Lower South East coast in the afternoon, then clearing in the evening. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far northeast. Moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.Friday 2 DecemberFine, partly cloudy about southern coasts and mostly sunny elsewhere. Mild to warm with moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh about the coast.Saturday 3 DecemberFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm with moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh about the coast with afternoon sea breezes.Sunday 4 December
Fine and mostly sunny. Generally warm with light to moderate east to southeast winds, fresh about the coasts with afternoon sea breezes.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday morning until midnight Sunday will be less than 2 mm about southern coasts.
Monday until WednesdayFine at first ahead of isolated showers developing in the far northeast then extending across the north and west by Wednesday. Mild to warm, becoming hot later in the period as winds tend east to northeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
