Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
The presence of a weak high pressure system over New South Wales will promote generally fine and stable conditions today, with the exception of the northeast and southeast corners where low pressure troughs are expected this afternoon. As the high drifts to the Tasman Sea during the day, warmer northerly winds will become established across the state. A frontal system, currently developing to the south of Western Australia, is expected to intensify during Tuesday as it approaches. This front is forecast to cross New South Wales during Wednesday and Thursday, bringing unsettled weather to many districts ahead of a cool change. This system is forecast to be fairly fast-moving, meaning that a return to mostly fine conditions is likely by week's end.

Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere, apart from some high cloud at times. Mainly northeast winds, freshening along the coast later.Tuesday 29 NovemberIsolated showers and thunderstorms about the northeast quarter and in the far southeast. Fine elsewhere.
