Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 19/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high is in the Tasman Sea and another to the west of WA. A trough with an embedded front between these highs will move through NSW today and tomorrow, and then remain over the northeast for the remainder of the working week. Another front and an upper trough and cold pool will move over the state Wednsday through Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms along the Victorian border The chance of a few showers or thunderstorms about the northern ranges. Fine elsewhere, with cloud increasing from the southwest. Northeast to northwesterly winds ahead of a southerly change in the south.Sunday 20 NovemberFine in the northeast. Possible thunderstorms, showers or rain periods in the south, contracting northeastwards through the day and clearing from the far southwest. Northerly winds in the northeast. Southeast to northeasterly winds extending across the remainder.Monday 21 NovemberFine near the Victorian border. Showers or rain periods and possible thunderstorms developing over the remainder, initially in the north, gradually extending southwards during the day. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 22 NovemberShowers or rain periods in all but the far northeast and the southwest. Thunderstorms possible across many central districts. Chiefly northerly winds in the north, and southerly winds in the south.Wednesday 23 NovemberFine over most of the west. Showers across the eastern half with tthunderstormsin the northeast. Chance late snow on the Alpine peaks. North to northwest winds in the northeast.
