Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 15/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough over northeastern NSW is expected to deepen today and will remain over the northeastern and central parts of the state until Friday, when it is expected to contract to the far northeast of the state as a cold front approaches from the west. This front is expected to move through most of NSW over the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine on the far north coast and the far southwest. Becoming cloudy with thunderstorms, showers or rain periods over most of the remainder, more frequent over central and northern parts. Northwest to northeast winds in the northeast, south to southeast winds extending across the remainder.Thursday 17 NovemberFine on the far north coast and in the far southwest. Isolated showers elsewhere, tending scattered over the central and northern parts. Possible thunderstorms, more likely over the northern inland. Mainly northerly winds tending southeasterly for parts of the north.Friday 18 NovemberPossible showers in the far south and over the northeast, more likely over the northern ranges with the chance of thunderstorms. Partly cloudy remainder. North to northeast winds tending southeasterly for parts of the north coast at first.Saturday 19 NovemberIsolated showers in the south and northeast. Partly cloudy remainder.
