Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 14/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure over the west of the State will move northeastwards to reach a line Coober Pedy to Yunta late evening and the northeast corner Wednesday morning. Another trough will move into the far west on Thursday evening and across western and southern parts during Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers developing about southern coasts in the afternoon, extending to a line Maitland to Bordertown late evening and becoming scattered about the Lower South East in the evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Pastoral districts north of Tarcoola. Warm to hot with light to moderate northerly winds, turning milder moderate to fresh southerly in the south and west, fresh to strong at times in the west with possible raised dust.Fire Danger -  Severe in the Northwest Pastoral.Wednesday 16 NovemberIsolated showers extending across most parts of the State, clearing from the west and from southern coasts during the morning, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms over the Pastoral districts. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh south to southeast winds about the northeast interior and the coasts. Light to moderate northerly winds elsewhere.Thursday 17 NovemberIsolated showers in the northeast contracting north and clearing later. Warm to hot with moderate northerly winds ahead of a milder southerly change in the far west.Friday 18 November
Fine in the Northeast Pastoral. Isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms, gradually extending over the remainder from the west. Hot, grading to very hot over the Pastoral districts. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, turning milder moderate to fresh southerly over the west and south.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning until midnight Friday are expected to be 1 to 5 mm generally with higher falls of 5 to 20 mm in the northwest with thunderstorms. Falls of 5 to 10 mm are possible in the southeast.
Saturday until MondayIsolated showers over most of the state contracting northeastwards over the weekend and re-developing about southern coasts from late Sunday. Hot in the northeast. Milder moderate to fresh southerly winds elsewhere, extending throughout late in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Tuesday.Product IDS10033
