Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 13/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough will enter western Victoria late in the afternoon, reaching central districts at night and clearing from the east on Monday. A weak cold front will cross southern Victoria late on Tuesday. A high pressure system will rapidly move from the Bight to reach Victoria late on Wednesday and will move east into the Tasman Sea on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Warm moderate to fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler west to southwest change developing in the west.Monday 14 NovemberIsolated showers on and south of the ranges, scattered near the coast during the morning. The chance of thunderstorms during the morning over central parts and Gippsland. Fine in the north. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds.Fire Danger -  High in the Mallee, low to moderate otherwise.Tuesday 15 NovemberFine at first. Scattered showers developing in the west mainly over southern and mountain districts. Mild to warm with moderate northwesterly winds shifting west to southwesterly from the west during the afternoon and evening.Wednesday 16 NovemberScattered showers increasing early morning in central and eastern areas, clearing from the west. Cool to mild and partly cloudy with mainly moderate south to southeasterly wind.Thursday 17 NovemberIsolated showers mostly in the east and southern areas, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms developing in the far southwest.
