Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 12/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge to New South Wales north coast. A weak low pressure trough lies over the northeastern inland parts and a cold front with a weak southerly change currently affects the southeast of the state and should dissipate overnight. A frontal system is expected to move through the state during Sunday night and Monday, reaching the northeast of the state early on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers and thunderstorms in the northeast and southeast. The chance of isolated showers about central parts of the coast and eastern ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds along the coast. Southwest to northwest winds inland.Sunday 13 NovemberFine and partly cloudy in the west. Isolated showers in the east and northern inland and along the Victorian border. The chance of a thunderstorm in the northeast and southeast. Northwest to northeast winds.Monday 14 NovemberFine apart from the chance of showers on the north coast and ranges and in the far southeast. Northerly winds in the northeast. West to southwest winds extending across the remainder.Tuesday 15 NovemberFine apart from the chance of showers on the north coast. Northerly winds in the northeast at first. East to southeast winds.Wednesday 16 NovemberIsolated showers in the south and west, extending to the northeast later. North to northwest winds in the north.
