Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge to New South Wales north coast. A weak low pressure trough lies over the northeastern inland parts and a cold front will bring a weak southerly change to the southeast of the state this afternoon and evening. Another frontal system is expected to move through the state during Sunday night and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers and possible afternoon thunderstorms in the northeast. The chance of afternoon showers about the central and southern coasts. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 13 NovemberFine and partly cloudy in the far west. Isolated showers elsewhere, mainly in the east and along the Victorian border. The chance of a thunderstorm in the northeast. Northwest to northeast winds.Monday 14 NovemberFine apart from the chance of showers on the north coast and ranges and in the far southeast. Northerly winds in the northeast. West to southwest winds extending across the remainder.Tuesday 15 NovemberFine.
