Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system currently over Victoria is expected to be centred over the Tasman Sea tonight, where it should remain through the weekend with a weak southerly change moving briefly through the south coast on Saturday. Another trough and frontal system enters the southwest of the state later on Sunday and reaches the southern parts of the coast on Monday morning before moving through the the northeast of the state on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers and possible afternoon thunderstorms in the northeast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast winds, turning northeasterly about parts of the southern coast in the afternoon.Saturday 12 NovemberIsolated showers and possible afternoon thunderstorms in the northeast. The chance of afternoon showers about the central and southern coasts. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 13 NovemberFine and partly cloudy in the northwest. Isolated showers elsewhere, mainly in the east and along the Victorian border. The chance of a thunderstorm in the northeast. Northwest to northeast winds.Monday 14 NovemberFine apart from the chance of showers in the northeast and southeast. Northerly winds in the northeast. West to southwest winds extending across the remainder.Tuesday 15 NovemberFine. Southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 am EDT Saturday.Product IDN10031
