Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1022 hPa over northwestern Victoria at 3pm Friday is moving eastwards. A low will develop near Eucla Saturday morning and move east to be near Ceduna Saturday evening. An associated trough of low pressure will move across the far west during Saturday and to the northeast of the State by late Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayFine apart from isolated showers developing in the far west late evening. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, tending southwest to northwest in the south.Saturday 12 NovemberEarly fog patches in the Lower South East. Isolated showers extending across the State from the west, though remaining fine southeast of Murray Bridge and northeast of Leigh Creek. Isolated thunderstorms, extending to central districts late evening, with showers and thunderstorms tending scattered in the far west in the afternoon. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening to strong at times with areas of raised dust in the far west, turning milder moderate to fresh southerly later in the far west.Sunday 13 NovemberFine northeast of Marree and over the Nullarbor Plain. Isolated showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms elsewhere, gradually contracting to the far east. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northwest winds, strong at times about eastern inland parts, ahead of a moderate to fresh southwesterly change extending from the west, reaching the northeast interior late evening.Monday 14 November
Isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to the Lower South East by afternoon and clearing late evening. Isolated showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms developing in the far northwest. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds, tending light to moderate southeast to northeast in the north and west.
Tuesday 15 November
Isolated showers in the far north and far west, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms in the far west.
Warm to hot with light to moderate northerly winds, turning milder moderate to fresh southerly in the west and south.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 1 mm in the northeast and up to 5 mm elsewhere, with local falls to 20 mm in the far western interior with thunderstorms.
Wednesday until FridayA band of isolated showers will extend across the State from the west and clear later from the west, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms in the north.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
