Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 10/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure will extend from the Bight across northern Victoria tonight reaching the Tasman Sea later Friday. A weak cold front will move through Bass Strait on Saturday then the next low pressure trough will enter the State Sunday afternoon and evening before extending across the remainder of the State during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers over the southwest and along the coast. Cool to mild with moderate to locally fresh westerly winds gradually easing.Friday 11 NovemberLocal early fog, then fine and mainly sunny. Mild in the south, warmer in the north. Light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Low to moderateSaturday 12 NovemberLocal early fog inland, then fine over most of the State. Isolated showers near the coast during the morning and possible showers over the far northwest at night. Mild in the south, warmer in the north. Light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Sunday 13 NovemberPartly cloudy with isolated showers extending to most districts. Warm northerly winds ahead of the milder westerly change entering the west during the afternoon.Monday 14 NovemberIsolated showers mainly on and south of the ranges.
