Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 10/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Ceduna will move east to reach the Tasman Sea late Friday or early Saturday. A trough will cross the State on Saturday and Sunday, then another high will move over the Bight by Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers possible about southern coasts. Fine and mostly clear otherwise. Mild with moderate southwest to southeast winds, easing during the evening.Friday 11 NovemberEarly fog patches over the agricultural area. Isolated showers developing in the far west late evening. Fine elsewhere. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, tending southwest to northwest in the south.Saturday 12 NovemberEarly fog in the Lower South East. Isolated showers extending from the west during the day to be west of Leigh Creek to Adelaide during the evening. Isolated thunderstorms possible in the northwest during the day, extending to Eyre Peninsula during the evening. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the west and north. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening in the west.Sunday 13 November
Isolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms, apart from in the northeast, contracting to the southern agricultural area and the far north in the evening. Warm to hot with moderate northwest to westerly winds, ahead of a moderate to fresh southwesterly change extending from the west during the day.
Monday 14 November
Isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to the Lower South East during the morning and clearing by evening. Mild to warm with moderate southerly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday until midnight Monday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm with possible falls of up to 20 mm with thunderstorms in the northwest on Sunday.
Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers will redevelop in the northwest on Tuesday and extend to most areas on Wednesday and Thursday. Conditions will remain warm to hot with mainly northerly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Friday.Product IDS10033
