Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving through southeastern New South Wales and a high pressure system is moving near the Bight extending a ridge in its wake. The front will weaken into a trough over the far northeast of the state overnight and the high will move over the southern Tasmn Sea. Another frontal system is expected to move through the state during Monady.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMostly sunny in far west. Showers and thunderstorms in the central in eastern parts, contracting to the northeast by the evening. Possible local heavy falls in the southeast early in the morning. Northwest to northeast winds in the northeast, and southwest to southeast winds extending across the remainder.Friday 11 NovemberIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms in the northeast and the chance of showers on the south and central coasts. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 12 NovemberIsolated showers in the east, more likely about the northern and central coasts. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 13 NovemberIsolated showers in the east and along Victorian border, more likely about the northern coast. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Northwest to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Thursday.Product IDN10031
