Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A front moving over central and eastern parts of South Australia, will reach the far northeast Thursday morning. A high will develop over the Bight on Thursday and will move slowly east to reach the Tasman sea late Friday or early Saturday. Another trough will cross the State on Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayScattered showers and thunderstorms in the eastern half of South Australia, gradually contracting east during the evening. Isolated showers remaining about southern coasts and the South East. Warm to hot in the northeast with fresh and gusty northerly winds. A milder, moderate to fresh southwesterly change extending into the northeast of the State during the evening.Thursday 10 NovemberIsolated showers about southern coasts and the Lower South East. Isolated early morning showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast. Early morning fog patches in the west. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Moderate to fresh westerly winds in the south, tending southwest to southeast in the north. Winds easing in the evening.Friday 11 NovemberEarly fog patches over the agricultural area. Isolated showers developing in the far west late evening. Fine elsewhere. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, tending southwest to northwest in the south.Saturday 12 November
Early fog in the Lower South East. Isolated showers and thunderstorms extending from the west over areas north of about Port Lincoln to Renmark. Areas of cloud further south. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the west and north. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening in the west.
Sunday 13 November
Isolated showers extending from the west during the day. The chance of thunderstorms in the northwest. Warm to hot with moderate northwest to westerly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday until midnight Sunday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm with local falls of 20 to 30 mm with thunderstorms.
Monday until WednesdayIsolated showers in the far south on Monday will clear, with showers re-developing in the northwest on Tuesday and extending throughout on Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
