Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak high over the southeast of the State will move over Victoria this morning as a trough moves across western parts, then extends over central and eastern parts during the afternoon and evening. A cold front will move across the State on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers and thunderstorms over the West Coast, showers extending east over agricultural and southern pastoral districts during the afternoon and evening. Showers tending scattered over the West Coast and Eyre Peninsula during the afternoon then over the Central and South East districts late afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms developing over the Northwest Pastoral, and parts of Eyre Peninsula during the day. Fine elsewhere. Warm to hot with moderate north to northeasterly winds, freshening during the morning ahead of a southwest change extending from the west during the day.Tuesday 8 NovemberFine in the northwest. Otherwise, isolated showers and thunderstorms with showers increasing to scattered over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts. Mild to warm in the south, hot in the north. Fresh northwest winds across the northeast, shifting moderate southwesterly elsewhere.Wednesday 9 NovemberIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms contracting to eastern districts by evening Showers tending scattered in the east during the afternoon. Mild to warm with southwesterly winds extending into the northeast during the day.Thursday 10 November
Isolated showers and thunderstorms clearing the far northeast early and from southern coasts and ranges by early afternoon. Mild to warm with mainly light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Monday morning until midnight Thursday are expected to range from 0 to 5 mm over northern pastoral areas up to 15 to 25 mm over agricultural areas though only 5 to 15 mm in the west. Possible isolated falls of up to 30 mm over the ranges and up to 15 mm with thunderstorms in the north.
