Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving low pressure trough lies over the northeast of South Australia. A weak high over the Bight will move east to southeastwards across the south of the state during today and early Monday. Another trough will cross the far west Monday evening, extending across most of the state Tuesday and reaching the far northeast Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers and thunderstorms east of about Woomera to Adelaide, clearing in the evening. Morning drizzle, mostly about southern and western coasts. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the north. Moderate northerly winds in the northeast, shifting southwest to southerly throughout in the afternoon.Monday 7 NovemberIsolated showers developing about the coast before extending inland over agricultural and southern pastoral districts during the afternoon or evening. Fine elsewhere. Mild to warm in the south, hot in the north. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, tending fresh northwesterly in the west ahead of a southwest change in the evening.Tuesday 8 NovemberFine in the northwest. Otherwise, isolated showers and thunderstorms with showers increasing to scattered over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts. Mild to warm in the south, hot in the north. Fresh northwest winds across the northeast, shifting moderate southwesterly elsewhere.Wednesday 9 November
Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms contracting to eastern districts by evening. Mild to warm with southwesterly winds extending into the northeast during the day.
Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Sunday until midnight Wednesday are expected to range from 0 to 5 mm over northern pastoral areas up to 15 to 25 mm over agricultural areas.
Thursday until SaturdayBecoming clear early Thursday before isolated showers and thunderstorms extend across the State later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
