Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 2/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge over much of New South Wales, and is expected to maintain fine conditions across the inland until the end of the week. Meanwhile, a low pressure trough in the northeast will move away to the Tasman Sea today. Areas east of the Divide may see some shower activity in an onshore airstream today, assisted by a transient upper-level trough. During Friday and Saturday the high is expected to move to the Tasman Sea while another trough approaches the state's west, with northerly winds bringing warmer and more humid air across the region through the weekend. This trough has potential to bring unsettled weather to many districts during Sunday and Monday.

Fine and mostly sunny west of the Divide. Southwest to southeast winds.Friday 4 NovemberEarly fog patches about the ranges and coast. Isolated showers about the northern coast and adjacent ranges, easing. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.
