Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 1/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
The tail end of a cold front lying over southern Victoria will weaken today as it moves slowly northwards. A high pressure system south of the Bight will approach western Victoria late on Thursday before moving to the northeast of Victoria during Friday night and Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayScattered showers on and south of the dividing range. Isolated showers penetrating north of the divide but fine over the far northwest. Generally cool with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.Fire Danger -  Low to Moderate.Thursday 3 NovemberFine apart from isolated morning showers in the south and northwest. Cool in the south but mild in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southerly winds.Friday 4 NovemberFine apart from isolated morning drizzle near the coast. Cool to mild in the south but warm over the north. Generally light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 5 NovemberFine. A warm and mainly sunny day with a moderate northerly wind and local afternoon coastal seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Wednesday.Product IDV10310
