Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 1/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge into western New South Wales, and is expected to maintain fine conditions across the inland until the end of the week. Nearer the coast, a low pressure trough in the south will shift to the northeast through Wednesday and Thursday, bringing some shower activity to areas east of the Divide. During Friday and Saturday the high is expected to move to the Tasman Sea while another trough approaches the state's west, with northerly winds bringing warmer and more humid air across the region. This trough has potential to bring unsettled weather to most districts during Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine apart from the chance of showers about the southern coast and and adjacent ranges. Mostly southwest to southeast winds, with local northeasterly sea breezes near the coast.Wednesday 2 NovemberEarly fog patches about the ranges and coast, mostly in the north. Isolated showers about the south and central coasts, and the chance of afternoon showers near the northern coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Northerly winds in the northeast, southwest to southeast winds elsewhere.Thursday 3 NovemberEarly fog patches about the ranges and coast. The chance of showers along the coast and ranges, mostly about central and northern parts. Fine and mostly sunny west of the Divide. Southwest to southeast winds.Friday 4 NovemberEarly fog patches about the ranges and coast. Isolated showers about the northern coast and adjacent ranges, easing. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Mainly southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 5 NovemberFine apart from the chance of morning showers about the far north coast.
