Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 31/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will remain near-stationary through to mid-week then move slowly eastwards to be located over the Tasman Sea by the weekend. A trough of low pressure will develop near the western border late on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from isolated light showers north of Coober Pedy to Leigh Creek. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh about the coast.Tuesday 1 NovemberIsolated showers developing about the Lower South East coast. Isolated showers north of Coober Pedy clearing later. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Wednesday 2 NovemberFine apart from isolated showers about southern coasts and ranges, and isolated showers in the far northwest until evening. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Thursday 3 NovemberFine apart from isolated morning showers about southern coasts. Cool in the south grading to warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Friday 4 November
Warm to hot and fine apart from isolated showers and thunderstorms developing near the western border from late afternoon. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, turning moderate northerly in the west.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday until midnight Friday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm over southern coasts and ranges with 1 to 5 mm north of about Coober Pedy.
Saturday until MondayIsolated showers and thunderstorms gradually extending from the west during the weekend to reach eastern districts late Sunday, before gradually clearing from the west on Monday. Warm to hot with moderate northerly winds, shifting milder southwesterly in west on Sunday and further east on Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Tuesday.Product IDS10033
