Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 30/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will remain near-stationary through to mid-week then move slowly eastwards to be located over the Tasman Sea by the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from isolated light showers northwest of Coober Pedy tending to patchy rain in the far north. Mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh about the coast.Tuesday 1 NovemberIsolated showers developing about the Lower South East coast. Isolated showers clearing from the far northwest later. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the northeast. Light to moderate south to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Wednesday 2 NovemberFine apart from isolated showers about southern coasts and ranges. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the northeast. Light to moderate south to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Thursday 3 November
Fine apart from isolated morning showers about southern coasts. Cool in the south grading to mild to warm in the north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday until midnight Thursday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 2 to 5 mm near southern coasts and ranges. 1 to 2 mm is expected across the north and west of the pastoral districts, reaching 5 to 15 mm northwest of Coober Pedy, with possible local falls of 15 to 30 mm with thunderstorms.
Friday until SundayIsolated showers and thunderstorms extending throughout during the weekend. Becoming warm to hot with winds turning moderate northerly by the weekend.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
