Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 29/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move through the northeast of the state today as a strong, slow-moving high pressure system moves south of the Bight extending a ridge towards NSW. The ridge is expected to remain over the state throughout the coming week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayShowers and thunderstorms over the northeast, most likely this afternoon about the northern ranges, slopes and parts of the Mid North Coast.Isolated showers and possible afternoon thunderstorms in the far southeast. The chance of isolated showers along central parts of the coast. Fine remainder and mostly sunny over the western inland. Southwest to southeast winds extending throughout.Monday 31 OctoberEarly fog patches about the ranges. Isolated showers on the north coast. Fine remainder and mostly sunny over the southern inland. Southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 1 NovemberMorning fogs about the coast and ranges. Isolated showers on the far north coast and the chance of showers on the far south coast and ranges. Fine remainder. Southwest to southeast winds, turning northeasterly along parts of the coast during the afternoon.Wednesday 2 NovemberMorning fogs about the northern and central coast and ranges. Isolated showers on the south coast. Fine remainder and sunny over much of the inland. Southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDN10031
