Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 29/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Western Australia will move very slowly eastwards to be south of the Bight by Sunday night, where it will remain until late next week. A weak front will pass over the southeast corner of the State on Tuesday on the eastern flank of this high.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers about the agricultural area contracting to southern coasts and ranges during the evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms north of about Coober Pedy. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Sunday 30 OctoberIsolated showers about the coasts and ranges contracting to the Lower South East coast by evening. Isolated showers in the far north tending to patchy rain at times in the north of the Northwest Pastoral district. Cool to mild with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh about southern coasts.Monday 31 OctoberFine apart from isolated showers about the far north, contracting to the far northwest during the day. Mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds. Afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 1 November
Isolated showers about the Lower South East coast. Isolated showers about the far northwest, clearing later. Fine otherwise. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the northeast. Light to moderate south to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm over the agricultural area, reaching 2 to 5 mm near southern coasts and ranges. Falls of 5 to 15 mm are possible north of about Coober Pedy, with local falls of 15 to 30 mm with thunderstorms over the North West Pastoral. Less than 1 mm is expected elsewhere.

Light to moderate south to southeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Thursday until SaturdayFine apart from isolated showers clearing from the southern coasts on Thursday.
