Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 15/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
On Sunday a high pressure system will move eastwards across the Bight extending a ridge over NSW. A cold front moving across the southern Tasman Sea is bringing a southerly change along the coast. The high will move over Victoria on Monday and into the Tasman on Tuesday, where it will remain semi stationary until the end of the working week when another trough will affect southwestern inland NSW .
Forecast for the rest of SundayMorning fog areas about the northeast and the South Coast. Isolated showers in the far northeast in the late evening. Possible showers on south coast, extending to the Illawarra late afternoon or evening. Sunny over most of the remainder. South to southwest winds over the inland. South to southeast winds along the coast.Monday 17 OctoberMorning fog patches about the southern and central ranges. Isolated showers/drizzle on the north and central coasts and adjacent east ranges. The chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms about the northeastern inland. Sunny elsewhere. East to southeast winds.Tuesday 18 OctoberEarly fog areas, chiefly about the coast and ranges.The chance of isolated showers on the far north coast. Sunny elsewhere. East to northeast winds.Wednesday 19 OctoberMorning fogs in the east. The chance of a few showers on the far north coast. Sunny remainder. Northerly winds in the west. Mostly east to northeast winds along the coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDN10031
