Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Bight will move slowly eastwards, crossing Victoria today then reaching the Tasman Sea on Thursday. A low pressure trough will enter western Victoria late Friday. A cold front will then cross Victoria on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayEarly morning frost patches inland. Fine apart from isolated coastal showers, clearing during the afternoon. Partly cloudy in the south and mostly sunny over the north. Mild with light to moderate southerly winds.Thursday 13 OctoberIsolated morning fog and frost patches then a fine, mild to warm and mostly sunny day. Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds and fresh afternoon seabreezes.Friday 14 OctoberIsolated afternoon showers, more widespread over the northeast and southwest. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Mild to warm with light to moderate north to northeasterly winds shifting westerly over western districts late in the day.Saturday 15 OctoberScattered showers over the northeast and far southwest, isolated showers elsewhere. Cool to mild with fresh west to southwest winds extending throughout.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Wednesday.Product IDV10310
