Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move through western New South Wales today and through the southeast on Tuesday. Behind the front, a high pressure system will move south of the Bight extending a ridge to southeastern Australia. The high will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea by Thursday and then it will move towards New Zealand during Friday as low pressure trough moves over the western parts of the state. The trough is expected to move slowly east during Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayThe chance of showers on the Alps and along the southern and central coasts in the morning. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to southwest winds inland, fresh about the southern ranges.Tuesday 11 OctoberMostly sunny apart from the chance of showers on the Alps. Southeast to southwest winds.Wednesday 12 OctoberIsolated showers about the central and northern coasts and possible showers in the far west. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to southwest winds, turning northeasterly on the northern coast later.Thursday 13 OctoberIsolated showers.
