Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for Monday
Southern Central West, Lower West, Central Wheatbelt, southern Gascoyne,
northern Great Southern and northern South West: Isolated thunderstorms and
scattered showers developing in the northeast Central Wheatbelt and adjacent
Gascoyne in the morning, and also developing in the southern Central West,
northern Central Wheatbelt and adjacent parts in the afternoon, with heavier
falls and small hail possible in western parts. Activity should extend
southwards during the afternoon and evening, with the hail area extending east
as well. Moderate to heavy falls possible in the southwestern Central Wheatbelt
and adjacent parts in the evening.
Goldfields and adjacent Interior and Eucla: Isolated thunderstorms and showers
developing in all but the far north and far south of the Goldfields during the
morning, extending south and east during the afternoon and evening.
Western Pilbara, remainder northern and eastern Gascoyne, reminder of the
northern Goldfields: Isolated light showers in the northwest at first, extending
south and east during the day.
On the coast in the northern Central West and southern Gascoyne: Isolated
showers developing in the evening.
