Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 8/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is forecast to reach southwestern Victoria this morning and will move out of the State by evening. Another cold front will affect southern Victoria during Monday ahead of a high pressure system that is expected to move over Victoria during Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayScattered showers mainly over the southwest and central districts during the early morning, reaching the east by early afternoon. Isolated showers over the northwest. Showers becoming isolated in the south in the later afternoon and generally clearing in the evening. Snow showers above 1300m. Cool with moderate to locally fresh west to northwest winds tending west to southwesterly throughout.Monday 10 OctoberScattered showers on and south of the ranges, falling as snow above 1500m. Isolated showers over the north. Cool with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.Tuesday 11 OctoberIsolated showers on and south of the ranges clearing in the southwest during the evening. Partly cloudy but dry over the the north. Cool with light to moderate southwesterly windsWednesday 12 OctoberDry over most of the state. Isolated showers over eastern coastal areas clearing by afternoon. Partly cloudy in the south. Mild with light winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDV10310
