Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 8/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving across southeastern New South. Another cold front will move through the state during Monday a Tuesday and a high pressure system will move south of the Bight extending a ridge behind the front. The high is expected to move over the southwestern Tasman Sea by Thursday and then to move east during Friday as low pressure trough approaches the the state from the west.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers in the south contracting east and possible showers in the far northwest. The chance of afternoon thunderstorms on the south coast and on the far southern ranges..Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds, freshening about the central and southern ranges ahead of a southerly change in the west and southeast.Monday 10 OctoberThe chance of showers about the far southern ranges, and along the southern and central coasts. Possible early showers in the far northwest. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to southwest winds inland, tending southeast to northeast near the coast.Tuesday 11 OctoberThe chance of showers near the southern and central coasts. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to southwest winds.Wednesday 12 OctoberPossible showers in the far west. Isolated showers about the central and northern coasts. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
