MELBOURNE - Oct 8/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Sunday: WARNING SUMMARY: Nil. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers developing near the coast late this evening, increasing to patchy rain overnight south of Streaky Bay to Broken Hill and areas of rain to the north, although remaining fine north of Coober Pedy to Moomba. Patchy rain in the south becoming isolated showers during the day then contracting south during the evening. Areas of rain in the north contracting east during the day to be confined to the Northeast Pastoral by evening. Isolated thunderstorms in the far southwest late this evening extending over the West Coast district north of Ceduna and the south of the Northwest Pastoral overnight and during Sunday. Cool in the south grading to hot in the far north. Chiefly light winds today then moderate southwest to southeast winds extending across most parts on Sunday.
