Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 2/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system will deepening off the north coast today, and should move rapidly away to the northeast later. Behind this system, a high is expected to move towards Tasmania extending a ridge across southeast Australia, with another inland trough entering the far west of the state later in the week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers in the eastern and possible central parts, tending scattered to widespread near the coast. The chance of thunderstorms in the northeast, extending further west in the afternoon and evening. Fine and partly cloudy in the far west. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds, fresh to strong near the coast and higher parts of the ranges.Monday 3 October
Isolated showers east of the Divide, tending scattered about the northern coast. Fine in the west. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong along the coast in the north.
Tuesday 4 OctoberIsolated showers central and north coast. Late patchy rain developing in the far west. Fine elsewhere. Fresh southerly winds along the coast. Moderate southeast to northeast winds inland.Wednesday 5 OctoberEarly coastal showers in the north. Patchy rain in the west. Fine elsewhere. South to southeast winds on the north coast.
