MELBOURNE - Sep 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Gale Wind Warning for the Far West and West Coasts and Strong Wind Warning for the South Central Coast and Gulf Waters for Wednesday. Sheep Graziers advice has been issued for the Western Agricultural, Northern Agricultural and Central districts for Wednesday evening and night. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms over the northern and northeast inland, contracting east and clearing during Wednesday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing about the west coast this evening and extending across the agricultural area and pastoral districts south of about Coober Pedy during Wednesday. Showers increasing over the southern agricultural area Wednesday afternoon and becoming widespread about the Mt Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island. Fine elsewhere. Warm to hot with fresh to strong north to northwest winds in the northeast. A cooler, strong and squally west to southwest change spreading across western areas during Wednesday morning, central areas later in the afternoon and reaching the northeast late evening. Areas of raised dust ahead and with the change.
