MELBOURNE - Sep 26/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For the rest of today and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the Far West and West Coasts for Wednesday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms over the northeast inland, contracting east and clearing during Wednesday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing about the west coast later today, extending across the agricultural area and pastoral districts south of about Coober Pedy during Wednesday. Showers increasing over the southern agricultural area Wednesday afternoon and becoming widespread about the Mt Lofty Ranges. Fine elsewhere with some high cloud. Warm to hot with fresh northeast to northwest winds, strong at times across the pastoral districts but shifting briefly west to southwesterly in the south this afternoon. A cooler, fresh to strong and squally west to southwest change spreading across western areas Wednesday morning, central areas in the afternoon and reaching the northeast late evening.
