MELBOURNE - Sep 22/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Friday: WARNING SUMMARY: Gale Warning for the South East Coast south of Port MacDonnell and a Strong Wind Warning for remaining Coastal Waters apart from the Far West Coast. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Warm to hot and mostly clear today with fresh to strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds ahead of a southwesterly change over central parts moving east to reach Marree to Broken Hill late evening. Isolated showers over the Lower South East extending to south of a line Port Lincoln to Bordertown on Friday. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times in the north, extending throughout on Friday with cool conditions in the south grading to warm to hot in the north.
