MELBOURNE - Sep 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the South East Coast for Tuesday and the Far West Coast for Wednesday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers over the agricultural area contracting to the southern agricultural area by this evening, to south of Adelaide by Wednesday afternoon then clearing in the evening. Showers tending scattered over the Lower South East will become isolated this evening. Possible thunderstorms and small hail about the Lower South East until evening. Cold at first in the east on Wednesday with isolated frost and fog. A band of rain will develop about western coasts and Lower Eyre Peninsula during Wednesday morning, then extend north and east over Eyre Peninsula and the south of the Northwest Pastoral by late evening. Showers following the rain over the West Coast and west of the Northwest Pastoral, south of Coober Pedy. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwest to northwest winds becoming light and variable in the east on Wednesday. Winds becoming fresh to strong in the far west on Wednesday with possible raised dust during the afternoon.
